Preparing the 2026 berry season in Poland: focus on premium varieties

At Daifressh Berry, we are already fully engaged in preparing the 2026 summer berry season in our Polish production. Over the past weeks, our local team has been working intensively in the field — from soil and greenhouse preparation to the planting of new varieties.
This work at origin is key to ensuring a strong season in terms of quality, consistency and supply capacity.

Our premium strawberry and raspberry varieties
Variety selection is one of the key pillars of our production strategy:
• Ava Monet (raspberry): known for its sweet and intense flavour, high Brix levels, firm texture and extended shelf life, making it a highly competitive option for retail programmes.
• Lady strawberry varieties (Emma, Grace and Sofia): offering a balance between earliness, sweet flavour, good firmness and attractive presentation — key attributes for the fresh market.
We develop these varieties in collaboration with a selected group of growers, ensuring consistent and reliable standards season after season.
In addition to new strawberry and raspberry plantings, our blueberry production is progressing as planned. Following pruning, crops are currently in the pre-bloom stage.

Expanding premium production areas
For the 2026 season, we are significantly increasing our focus on high-value varieties by expanding cultivated areas:
• Ava Monet raspberries: from 0.2 ha in 2025 to 5 ha in 2026
• Lady strawberries: from 2.3 ha to 6.6 ha in 2026, with plans to reach 9 ha in 2027
This expansion reflects both the strong agronomic performance of these varieties and their excellent results in terms of flavour, texture, shelf life and market presentation.

Integration across the supply chain
At Daifressh, field operations are part of a broader vertically integrated strategy that allows us to efficiently connect origin with the final customer.
Close proximity to production, careful variety selection and direct collaboration with growers are key to:
• Ensuring quality at origin
• Delivering consistent supply programmes
• Adapting to market needs
This approach enables us to provide reliable and sustainable solutions to our customers in an increasingly demanding market.
All of this is made possible thanks to the work of our local team in Poland, who play a key role during preparation and planting, ensuring a strong start to each season.

The 2026 berry season in Poland represents another step forward in our commitment to premium varieties, planned growth and origin control — delivering real value across the entire supply chain.
